The Tilos 1mm Thermoflare Hood beats the chill and is a smart addition to any diver’s gear bag. The skull-cap design and Thermoflare Lining allow it to provide good thermal protection before, during and after your dive. The Smooth skin hood skirt allows for better seal against your wetsuit for a better water proof seal. Enhanced with watertight flatlock seam construction relieves your head from hot spots or unnecessary discomfort. Combination of fleece inside for best comfort and a stretchy layer outside for the perfect fit and freedom of movement. Suitable for inside a wetsuit or drysuit.

Superior Comfort and Protection

Thermoflare is a new material used in the lining of several Tilos items. It’s made from two types of fabrics which have different insulating properties. The dark part of Thermoflare is hydrophilic (absorbs water).This pulls water in and traps it allowing your body to heat it creating a barrier of warm water. Since it holds the water in place there is less water to re-warm. The lighter part of Thermoflare is a hydrophobic (repels water) hollow fiber. It has a fleece like feel against the skin and has excellent insulating properties adding even more warmth.It is also very fast drying. When they are combined to create the Thermoflare liner they offer exceptional warmth and comfort.
